Mobile Boxes
Posted in poem on July 24, 2009 by matthaysomI hate the boxes
that relay messages.
The sounds attack
my mind with lies.
Unable to face me
with spoken passages.
It’s got to the point
I don’t send replies.
All we have are words
at the end, benign.
From hence forth
are you even mine.
Undo all the times
I ask you to dine.
I’d rather we sit with
paper, quill, the written line.
Make me a new box
to take me back in time.
To an age of
banquet and wine.
A feast of friends
and all things fine.
No faceless speech
no time to whine.

There is a tree.
Posted in poem on July 12, 2009 by matthaysomThere is a tree
going nowhere.
It is free.
Bound to the ground.
Rustling through the leaves
music is in the wind.
The shrilling of a bird
the buzz of a fly.
Silent movement
of a cat
catches
my eye.
He wanders
graciously
over with
silent
movement.
He comes
I hope
to say
hello.
Again and again
he rubs his face
against
my hand.
He is instantly
in my
band.
Mankinds road to……
Posted in poem on July 12, 2009 by matthaysomWestern culture should look
at all it has shaken.
All of nature it has taken.
It is the Shaman that
should be
summoned.
As the dark ones
are closing in.
It’s not what has
gone before.
But what presently
manifests within.
The Gods
of the
past
have returned
to instruct.
As mankind has
drifted along
heading for
self destruct.
Apocalypse will happen
soon some day.
While men in their
suits
still
count
and
play!

I’m interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos, especially activity that appears to have no meaning. It seems to me, to be the road to freedom.
There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the doors.
When you make peace with authority, you become authority.
Hated State
Posted in poem with tags censorship, Government on July 5, 2009 by matthaysomfree opinion
is stifled by the
air of authority
the faces of power
say
go have
free speech
but how can
it be free
when
the word
censorship
is
abused
people are deluded
no longer included
Britain is no longer Great
we live in an authoritarian state
Orwell in the past told it straight
Winston lived as we do
in a world of paranoid hate.
Just a thought.
Posted in Thoughts on July 2, 2009 by matthaysomWhile T.V is a contaminated world full of propaganda and inessential entertainment which corrupts redundent minds. It keeps the masses busy while the guardians bend, make and break the laws, which the public live under.
Great film and great literature provide inner knowledge and wisdom. USE THEM!
